^{Zone 11 held a successful Bowls NSW Inter-zone Championships with host clubs Western Suburbs Leagues BC & Greenlees Park BC excelling.}

^{Zone 11 achieved their best result ever winning section 1 at Wests over Zones 1 (NSW Far North Coast), 13 (Sydney South) & 15 (Central Coast).}

^{In the semi final at Greenlees on Sunday, Zone 9 (Sydney Northern) were too strong for the host zone winning 89-72.}

^{It was a great effort by the team to get that far.}

^{In the other semi final, Zone 12 (Sydney South West) beat Zone 16 (Illawarra) 81-75.}

^{The final was a whitewash with Zone 12 winning the championship 88-50.}

^{Zone 12 have won 8 from the last 16 making them always the zone to beat.} 

^{Congratulations to officials, selectors, host clubs and zone 11 for a tremendous tournament and result.}

^{On the back of a great performance from Zone 11 at the recent Bowls NSW Inter-zone Sides Championships, Dean Smith (Alexandria-Erskineville) has been selected in the city side for their clash against country November 14-15 at Cabramatta BC.
 
Dean has been pushing for reprsentative honours over the last few seasons having won the 2008 City Masters and numerous state and australian police bowls titles. His selection is well-deserved and good luck to Dean in his endeavours to push for a state or state reserve spot.
